Mission

The arts are an essential component for the development and well being of all people. Main Street Art is dedicated to providing a place of education where children, teens, adults and seniors can come together to experience, appreciate and participate in the arts in an environment where creative efforts are shared and made accessible to everyone.

History

Main Street Art was founded in 2008 by a group of Newfields residents interested in promoting arts in the community.

The Main Street Art Board of Directors is made up of several Seacoast area residents who are passionate about the arts and bringing art into local communities. Members on the board come from a variety of backgrounds, including accomplished artists and quilters, to jewelry makers and knitters to finance and marketing. Together, the Main Street Art Board of Directors has brought about a vision and made it a reality.
