Pre School - Kindergarten Classes


Art Explorers - preschoolers ages 3-5, $85
Wednesday 1:45pm-2:45pm, May 8th - June 12th

This class is designed for our youngest artists! They will become little art explorers, trying out many types of materials and styles of art. Class is focused on having fun and enjoying the exploration of art. Different projects will be presented each week allowing students the opportunity to achieve a wide foundation in the arts.

Kindergarten Paint Party - Pre K-K, $85
Thursday 1:45pm-2:45pm, May 9th - June 13th

Students will celebrate each class by painting mini-masterpieces. They will learn styles and techniques used by current and past artists, including painting on easels! Students will also explore color and the art of mixing paint through fun and challenging exercises.



Grades 1-5



Pre Art for Sculpture Exploration - Grades 1-5, $30
Wednesday 3:00pm-3:30pm, May 8th - June 12th

Where students have the opportunity to come earlier, work on their projects, draw, have a snack, relax or do homework until the class begins.

Sculpture Exploration - Grades 1-5, $95 
Wednesday 3:30pm-4:30pm, May 8th - June 12th

If you are a current student, all new projects will be explored in this fun filled class! Students will explore a variety of sculptural techniques including clay, wire and paper. Students will learn how to plan and design 3D projects, then work on bringing them to life. Plan to use your hands, get messy, and create amazing 3D art!

Spring Art - Grades 1-5, $90 + $5 material fee
Saturdays 3:00pm-4:00pm, May 11th - June 15th

Are you ready for spring? This class will re-energize students and give them a break from the cold New England weather. Each week the class will focus on Spring themed art projects. This will include painting still life from real spring flowers, designing and decorating flower pots, and creating mini sculpture gardens. This class is a sure way to cure cabin fever and start celebrating Spring.


Grades 3-5

Drawing Games - Grades 3-5, $90

A drawing class focused on games and fun exercises to challenge your abilities and expand your imagination, both individually and collaboratively. Activities include Exquisite Corpse, the Picture Game, blind contour, music reaction, weak hand, story illustration, comic strips, Hats and more!


Grades 3-8


Painting and Drawing  - grades 3-8, $130
Friday 4:00pm-5:30pm, May 10th - June 14th

Together we look at different trends, movements and moments in art history to become inspired to make art in today’s world.  We draw from imagination, from life, and sometimes collaboratively.  Each week is a new surprise incorporating drawing, painting or collage!

Model Homes - Grades 3-8, $115
Saturday 1:00-2:30, May 11th - June 15th

This class will explore the art of building and design by creating dioramas. This session will focus on an underwater theme. Projects will include ocean creatures, aquariums, water parks and more! Various materials are used to build the projects including many recycled items (go green!). Get ready to use your imagination to build realistic models of far away places.











Main Street Art offers multi-media art instruction for people preschool age to adult, encouraging every emerging artist to explore their creative potential and develop a style all their own. The MSA environment is nurturing and relaxed so that students feel comfortable experimenting with different techniques and methods of using color, design and texture. Class sizes are small enabling individualized attention. Scholarships are available. Sign up early so you are guaranteed a spot!
